• Where is the store based?

• Are your soaps handmade?

  Yes. Each bar is individually prepared, finished, wrapped, and packaged by hand in small batches.

  Because they are handmade, no two bars are exactly alike — each one carries its own little details and character.

• Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?

  No.

• How long will it take to receive my order?

  Once shipped, most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive, depending on the efficiency of your local postal service.

• Do you accept returns?

  Because soaps are personal-use items, we are unable to accept returns on used products. If there is an issue with your order, please get in touch with us, and we will do our best to help.

• Do you test on animals?

  No. Velvet & Bone Co. does not test products on animals.

• How are your fragrances chosen?

  Each fragrance is selected to match the story and atmosphere behind each soap. From soft florals and nostalgic scents to darker, more mysterious blends, every scent is chosen to create a specific feeling and experience.

• What do you use for color?

  We use cosmetic-grade mica powders and soap-safe colorants to create each collection’s unique appearance. Colors may vary slightly from bar to bar due to the handmade process.

• What ingredients are in your soaps?

  Our soaps are made with a shea butter base and carefully selected fragrance oils and cosmetic-grade mica powders.

• Are your soaps safe for sensitive skin?

  Everyone’s skin reacts differently to fragrance and ingredients. If you have sensitive skin or known sensitivities, we recommend reviewing the ingredient list and performing a patch test before regular use.

• Why does my soap look slightly different from the photos?

  Each bar is handmade in small batches, so slight variations in color, texture, and appearance may occur. These small differences are part of the charm of handmade goods.

• Can I use this soap on my face?

  Our soaps are created as body soaps. Everyone’s skin is different, so we recommend testing on a small area first if you have sensitive skin.

• How long will my soap last?

  The lifespan of each bar depends on how often it is used and how it is stored. Proper drainage and allowing your soap to dry between uses will help extend its life.

• How do I make my soap last longer?

  Keep your soap dry between uses by storing it on a draining soap dish or somewhere it can fully dry between showers or baths. Allowing air circulation helps prevent your bar from becoming soft too quickly.

• How do I pay for my order? Is it secure?
